Luxurious Charlotte Retreat: Rooftop Views & Pool & Outdoor Kitchen

Listing did not match reality. Within 24 hours of my stay the owner reached out to notify us about the pool that wasn’t going to be available. Fine, things happen. Upon arriving at the home, we noticed that there were several propane tanks empty for the grills, and the pool grill didn’t even work once we found a propane tank with a little bit of gas. Additionally the state of the rooftop was tragic. Seat covers were gross, the hammock chair was oozing out rusty brown water, no remote for the tv and the fireplace did not work. The host was very responsive but failed to address any of the issues. It’s a beautiful home that needs a little bit of TLC and it’ll be a 10/10 listing. Unfortunately, that’s not what we found during our stay. Very disappointed.

Great place to stay. Great time was had!!

This experience was ok. The owner was good at replying quickly, but did not take action to help us. The place itself was very spacious, and had a nice kitchen and bathrooms. Also, the beds were very comfortable. However, almost nothing that was promised was actually provided. None of the video games worked in the garage, the basketballs were all flat, the hot tub was cold and didn’t work, some of the remotes didn’t have batteries in them, and the fire pit was broken. The actual pictures put online do not represent reality. The fatheads were peeling off the walls, there is no TV behind the bar on the rooftop, and the patio furniture was cracked and dirty. If the owner put a couple of thousand dollars towards fixing this place, it would’ve been gorgeous and a place we’d stay again. Luckily, the company we had during our trip is what mattered most.

The property is exactly what we were expecting and accommodated our group 12 perfectly. Brian, the property manager was fully responsive and available as needed! I would definitely stay at this house again!
